German Biotechnology days 2021

August 2021

Event date: 20th September 2021

HGF’s Partner Dr Markus Zoller is attending and speaking at the German Biotechnology days on 20th September 2021.

German Biotechnology days is the go to event in the industry and is considered the German class reunion for biotechnology. It attracts entrepreneurs, scientists and partners from politics, funding institutions and administration. Speakers will discuss diverse fields of application and the potential of biotechnology, from health research to bioeconomy, from medicine to industrial production to plant breeding.

HGF’s Partner Dr Markus Zoller and Dr Thomas Tiller (MorphoSys AG) will be holding a luncheon session on 20th September, where they will cover ‘IP Portfolio Management – Aligning the Patent Portfolio with Business Goals’:

Intellectual property (IP) rights are completely worthless if they are not aligned with a company’s commercially relevant goals. Many companies are aware of the importance of IP rights. Thus, IP is now used not only to protect against imitation, but also as an attractive means to increase the value of a company. It is important here that the IP portfolio is aligned with the company’s orientation. What should I pay attention to in my IP strategy? How can I best adapt this strategy?
