Managing IP Intellectual Property & Innovation Summit Europe 2023

HGF are gold sponsors of Managing IP Intellectual Property & Innovation Summit Europe 2023 on the 7th – 8th of June in London.

The Summit will gather IP experts from varying industries across the world. This two-day summit will be packed with expert keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions, and in-depth fireside chats, empowering attendees with perspectives on patents, brand protection, trademarks, and future direction of the IP industry.

HGF Partner & Head of Law Rachel Fetches will be speaking as part of the panel session “Debating the impact of the Unified Patent Court (UPC)“. This session will cover:

  • An update on the UPC state of play – who is using the system, early learnings, etc
  • A reminder of the potential advantages and disadvantages, and which countries will benefit the most
  • Short-term outlook for the court
  • What are UPC judges expecting in the coming months?
